David Bryant is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with several decades of experience in the housebuilding industry. His career includes senior roles as Chief Surveyor at Comben Homes in Leeds, Technical Director of Bellway Homes Yorkshire in Wakefield, Managing Director of Persimmon Anglia for five years, and a Main Board Director of Persimmon for 20 years.
Following retirement from Persimmon, he has held a number of senior appointments, including Chairman of Bowbridge Homes Limited, Chief Executive of Halsbury Homes, and Senior Advisor to Lloyds Bank’s Housing Growth Partnership.
David is currently Chair of the HBF Small Developers Home Builders Group and has been actively involved with HBF for over 40 years, having previously served as Chairman of the New Homes Marketing Board in Yorkshire in 1984 and as national Chairman from January 2011 to 2015.
