The current Part M for dwellings sets standards that are to be achieved in the design of new homes for disabled access.
The attached note provides an indication of proposals for future changes. The timescale is approximately two years.
A working group has been established, which will hold its first meeting on 13 December 2004 at Taylor Woodrow's offices to discuss the likely implications of the proposals.
