The House Builders Federation has joined forces with the Government agency responsible for design, CABE, and the body which represents local amenity societies, the Civic Trust, to form a powerful New Homes Design Initiative -Building for Life, to promote high quality design in new homes.
To support this important new initiative, the New Homes Marketing Board, in association with HouseBuilder magazine, is producing a major publication which will showcase outstanding new home developments. This high quality document will be distributed widely amongst the industry, local government, politicians and opinion formers.
This publication, Best of British Homes 2002, will allow developers and advertisers to feature the most outstanding examples of recent new homes design in the most prominent shop window for the industry. The publication will also contain contributions from some of Britains best-known commentators on development and urban design.
