Free project management training for HBF members

As a result of a unique partnership between HBF, CITB and the University of Reading we are able to offer fully funded training for project managers

The course is an intensive, hands-on modular, part distance learning course in Construction Project Management. This will be fine-tuned to the needs of HBF members.

The main details are as follows:

 The course is intended for construction professionals and managers who wish to consolidate their existing qualification and experience with specific project management training. Successful candidates will achieve the Association for Project Managements professional qualification.

 Formal academic qualifications are not the priority. Much more important is that candidates have at least 5 years PM experience.

 The overall length of study is about 3 months. Candidates must attend the University for two Fridays and two Saturdays.

 Places on the course, which normally cost 1,000 plus VAT, will be entirely funded by the CITB. The only financial costs will be overnight accommodation and staff time.

This is a great opportunity for HBF members to get better value from the CITB. A pilot will commence in September 2001 with further places available during 2002. For further information contact Mark Rice on 01454 203 477 mark.rice@hbf.co.uk.

Details of the taught aspects of the course are attached.
