HBF is aware that the majority of our members have been approached by third parties offering them involvement in residential property portals on the internet.

We believe that the most effective route to such a website may be for the HBF to provide this service to its members. We are undertaking a Scoping Study to ascertain the feasibility and options for www.new-homes.co.uk. The site will allow home buyers to search on and view a wide range of new homes developments, the ultimate aim of the site being to convert a web site visit into a physical site visit and ultimately improve the likelihood of purchase.

In order to provide value this site will need to have a clear and innovative vision supported by sound technology and processes so the information offered is accurate, present and up to date.

As part of the Scoping study we are asking members to answer a few questions related to their view of the site objectives and content, together with the technical platform used by their existing computer/web systems.
