HBF has been working with the Royal Town Planning Institute on a guide to better relationships between house builders, local authorities and communities. This is to be published, and posted on the HBF Website, shortly.
HBF is keen to support positive working relationships as one way of winning commitment to development and cutting through delay and obstruction in the planning system. The guide serves this purpose by highlighting effective ways of promoting schemes.
The guide applies to all forms of housing development and has been sponsored by Government, the Housing Corporation and the National Housing Federation, as well as by HBF.
