1. Create your online account
Use your work email address to create your free HBF online account.
You can manage your membership and interactions via this account, and signing in will give you access to exclusive membership benefits.
2. Set your communication preferences
Once you’ve created your account, customise your newsletter subscriptions to personalise the emails you receive.
Select your areas of interest so our teams can keep you informed on the issues that matter most to you.
3. Check out live HBF working groups and meetings
Our working groups and meetings provide opportunities to highlight challenges facing your business and the wider industry, and help inform HBF’s activity and priorities.
4. Promote your new membership status amongst your network
You’re now entitled to use the HBF logo in accordance with our logo guidelines.
You could add our logo to your email signature and website, and share the news that your organisation now has HBF membership on your corporate social media channels.
Remember to follow and tag us in posts on LinkedIn and X (@HomeBuildersFed).
5. Encourage your team to access HBF membership benefits
Encourage your colleagues to use their work emails to create their own HBF accounts so they can access resources, support and information to support their role.
Use our template emails, SMS and/or WhatsApp message and internal newsletter copy to inform your teams.
6. Review your company listing on the HBF directory
If you are the company admin, manage your directory listing. Tell potential consumers, suppliers, and partners more about who you are, what you do and where you do it.
If you would like to make a change to the directory but are not the company admin, you'll need to send proof of their approval to info@hbf.co.uk
7. Get a free Housebuilder Magazine subscription
As a HBF member, you can sign up to receive a complimentary copy of Housebuilder magazine.
8. Secure tickets to upcoming HBF Events
Receive member-only discounts on our HBF events, such as the HBF Policy Conference, Golf Day and more.
9. Join the Customer Satisfaction Survey and star rating scheme
The Customer Satisfaction Survey and star rating has established itself as a widely- recognised barometer of house builder performance – which is probably why 20% of our members are signed up.
10. Sign up to offer your consumers Deposit Unlock
Give consumers the option to buy using Deposit Unlock, a low deposit mortgage scheme exclusive to new build homes.
