What is an Accountant?

The finance department covers all accounting functions from wages, purchase and sub-contract ledger maintenance.

Producing monthly, bi-monthly reports including management accounts and trading statements.

As a manager you would be in charge of a group of people but also may be involved in more complex roles.

How can you become an Accountant?

The following qualifications are required:
AAT
ACCA
CIMA

But there are also training and development opportunities from within certain companies so it may be possible to work and do courses.

Be good with figures and like working with figures

Be methodical

Have good organisational skills.
