What is a Chartered Architectural Technologist?

Chartered Architectural Technologists provide architectural design services and solutions. They specialise in the science of architecture, building design and construction and form the link between concept and construction. The work of a Chartered Architectural Technologist will encompass a wide variety of roles ranging from researching and selecting materials for the job through to providing technical knowledge and ultimately supervising the architectural elements of construction work.

How can you become an Chartered Architectural Technologist?

To train as a Chartered Architectural Technologist, you will need an honours degree in Architectural Technology from one of the 25 nationwide CIAT Accredited universities. To attain Chartered status you will need to join and then complete the membership procedures as administered by the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists.
