HBF representations on Bracknell Forest Borough Council's consultation draft Supplementary Planning Guidance on the provision of affordable housing in new developments.
HBF objects to this draft SPG which is contrary to PPG12 in that it seeks to materially alter adopted local plan policy through SPG. It is also contrary to Government guidance on the provision of affordable housing set out in Circular 6/98 in that it seeks to propose a lower site size threshold to those set out in 6/98 as well as applying a borough wide target percentage for affordable housing provision on qualifying sites.
HBF seeks the withdrawal of the draft SPG as it can only carry minimal, if any weight, for the purposes of the day to day determination of planning applications given these fundamental flaws.
