HBF has submitted a written paper for discussion at the June 2004 Braintree Local Plan Inquiry - Round Table session on the matter of housing supply. It is HBF's view that the Council is over-optimistic regarding various sources of future housing supply such that, if further land is not available for housing in the plan, the plan will not meet its strategic housing requirement.
The HBF’s comments primarily relate to:
· The need to identify 10 years land supply from the date of the Plan's adoption
· The need to identify 5 years land supply on Proposals Maps
· Growth Areas
· RPG14 housing numbers
· Stansted Airport growth requirement
