Cambridge City Planning Obligations Strategy

5 Apr, 2004

HBF has made representations to Cambridge City Council concerning draft revisions to its Planning Obligations Strategy. Comments made mainly refer to the long list of specific financial sums identified for inclusion within legal agreements, and the perceived failure of the L.A. to consider the cumulative impact of these, particularly in relation to the likely overall viability of development schemes.

The HBF emphasised the importance given Cambridge's location within one of the major growth areas that lengthy and costly planning gain requirements are not allowed to jeopardise housing supply provision.
