East Hampshire Local Plan Inquiry Further Submissions October 2003

29 October, 2003

HBF has made further submissions to the East Hampshire local plan inquiry.

Circulated with the note of the housing round table session of the East Hampshire local plan inquiry were some suggestions that the local plan should contain policies to deal with the possible de-allocation of greenfield sites which were identified as reserve allocations should they no longer be required. It is our view that not only is this unecessary given the large housing shortfall in the local plan. But, also it is contrary to the county council's guidance on implementing policy H4 of the structure plan which deals with how PMM and the release of reserve sites will work in practice.
