HBF has objected to Gosport Borough Council's interim planning policy guidance on new development along the Marine Parade. HBF does not object to the policy aspect of the proposed change in policy approach. Rather that the Council is seeking to alter adopted local plan policies by way of non-statutory changes which do not allow those changes to be subject to the necessary degree of scrutiny and testing. This is contrary to Government policy set out in PPG12.
