HBF has submitted objections to the London Borough of Brent's draft affordable housing SPG.
HBF's objections to the SPG were focused on the following issues, which were contrary to circular 6/98:
Tenure specific approach
Absence of low cost market housing within the definition of affordable housing
RSL prescribed partners
Additionally, HBF objected to:
Open book accounting processes
20 percent premium on cash-in-lieu payments
