As part of the 2022-2023 Health & Safety Committee Action Plan, the stairwell protection sub-group produced industry guidance that incorporates the safe installation of stairwell protection, working with sacrificial joists, working around exposed openings, sequencing of works, etc. to help improve safe working practices.
