HBF's Communications, and Policy and Strategy Directors join its board

HBF has strengthened it board and revised its management structure to ensure it is best placed to tackle the growing array of challenges the organisation is now dealing with on behalf of its members.

David O’Leary and Steve Turner have been made executive directors and will join the HBF board.

David and Steve will join Executive Chairman Stewart Baseley, Managing Director Neil Jefferson and Finance Director Mark Thackstone on the HBF Board and will oversee strategy and priorities for the organisation moving forward. Further changes to the management structure will be announced in due course.

Their appointments follow on from the recent announcement that Jennie Daly, CEO at Taylor Wimpey and Katy Jordan, MD at Enterprise Residential Development Ltd were joining the board.

Executive Chairman Stewart Baseley said: “HBF and the industry are facing into a range of complex challenges and I am keen to ensure we have the skills and capacity at the right level to be able to deal effectively with them.
