The Hertfordshire Structure Plan Alterations 2001-2016 were placed on deposit on 5 March 2003. Public consultation ended on 16 April 2003.
The HBF submmitted written repreentations in relation to the Plan. The primary concern related to what it saw as an unrealisticly large Urban Capacity Estimate which would result in an inadequate housing supply being delivered.
At the same time it sucessfully lobbied Go East in order to get the Plan and the Examination in Public put on hold. Instead the County Council has been asked to concentrate its efforts on progressing the background work necessary for the production of RPG14 in early 2004.
