HBF has submitted comments on the above informal consultation document.
Mid Sussex District Council has informally sought HBF's views on the way in which the local plan proposed modifications should deal with the matter of paragraph 34 of PPG3. Particulaly given the local plan's end-date of 2006. While the matter of 5 years supply can never operate when there are only 3 years of the plan period remaining, what the Council proposes, in consultation with GOSE seems a common sense solution. HBF suggests further clarification should be provided on the matter of how the Council's approach to PMM will work in practice and seeks a new policy in the local plan to deal with this.
