HBF has submitted representations on Islington's Draft Supplementary Planning Guidance for affordable housing.
The changes advocate an increase in requirements for affordable housing, widen the definition of affordable housing and include a number of other issues involved with the deliverability of affordable housing through the planning system via the SPG, which reinforces Islingtons recommended policy direction.
It is the HBF's view, that due to the changes sought, the SPG is contrary to the fundamental principles of Government Legislation, namely PPG 12.
As such the HBF have submitted a copy of objections to the Government Office for London.
