HBF has submitted representations on Lewes District Council's draft SPG on kerbside recycling as we consider it to be little more than an arbitrary and unjustified tax on development
Draft Supplementary Planning Guidance produced by Lewes District Council seeks to secure a financial contribution of 16.12 per dwelling from all new housing developments comprising 6 dwellings or more.
HBF objects to this proposal as it is contary to Government policy guidance on the use to which Planning Obligations can reasonably be put and because it is little more than a tax on development which goes beyond the proper function of town and country planning legislation.
