HBF has submitted representations to Mid Suffolk District Council for the SPG on Affordable Housing.
Proposals in the SPG seek to increase proportions and targets of affordable housing, alter the definition of affordable housing as well changes to a number of other policies relating to the delivery of affordable housing delivery.
It is the HBF's view that the SPG is contrary to Government Legislation on a number of grounds. Especially as the proposals within the SPG are based on a Housing Needs Survey which was carried out in 2000.
