CITB’s New Entrant Support Team (NEST) is running a pilot to increase the number of apprentices in the home building industry’s supply chain.

Supported by HBF and its members, the Home Building Apprenticeship Support Pilot is being introduced solely for the Home Building industry, in response to the demand from the sector to increase the number of apprentices being recruited and retained by the supply chain.

The dedicated team of CITB Advisors are currently working with six home builders to support their supply chains to recruit, train and retain their apprenticeships across the Midlands and Southeast of England.

The initiative is expected to run over the next two years with planned supply chain events and promotional material to be released to showcase the service.
