ODPM has just published a consultation on proposals for amending Part B (Fire Safety) of the Building Regulations 2000 and Approved Document B.
There are no major changes planned but the proposals do include the use of sprinklers and door-closing devices and changes to the guidance on domestic loft conversions.
The document has been split into two volumes: Dwellings and Buildings other than Dwellings.
There are also various proposed changes to the guidance, mainly updating.
