What is a Planner?

The Planning department manages and promotes strategic land development for the company. They identify and work with buyers on the procurement and possible land opportunities available. They also provide imperative planning advise on all land acquisitions.

As a planner you would liase with landowners and agents for possible land purchase. Assist land buyers with negotiating such contracts and inspect possible/acquired sites.

Planners advice land buyers and promote strategic interests of the developer, a planner will also form a network of contacts in their area of work.

How can you become a Planner?

Gain an accredited degree by Royal Town Planning Institute (RPTI). Specialising in the following subjects:

Town and country planning

Built environment

Planning and architecture

Civic design

Environmental planning
