Tunbridge Wells Inquiry HRT Statement

27 October, 2003

HBF has prepared a written statement for the Housing Round Table session of the Tunbridge Wells local plan inquiry to be held on 19th November 2003.

HBF's objections to the Tunbridge Wells local plan as it has evolved through first and second deposit and pre-inquiry changes stages are brought together in a written statement to the housing round table session of the local plan inquiry. HBF's key arguments are that the Council's assessment of various components of housing supply is over-optimistic and will not ensure delivery of sufficient new dwellings to meet the structure plan housing requirement. And that the plan does not identify sufficient sites for development on the proposals map to comply with the requirements of paragraph 34 of PPG3.
