People, Places, Futures - The Wales Spatial Plan is out for consultation until 30 January. A series of briefing and consultation events across Wales are to be held over the coming months. HBF will keep members informed of forthcoming events of interest.
The Wales Spatial Plan sets out a direction of travel for Wales for the next 20 years. The Plan provides a spatial expression of policy.
It presents a vision for the sustainable development of Wales.
A framework for collaborative working and decision making across sectoral and functional boundaries.
An opportunity to bring a stronger geographic element to all our work: in forming policy formation; strengthening implementation and measuring the impact of actions.

There will be an opportunity to discuss the Plan at our planning meeting in November. HBF will circulate a briefing paper prior to the meeting.
