Mark Harris is Planning and Policy Advisor for Wales at the Home Builders Federation. Mark’s role includes representing HBF members across Wales, working closely with Welsh Government to help influence housing policies and regularly sits on a range of Welsh Government working groups.
Prior to joining the HBF Mark gained over 20 years of experience as a planner in both the public and private sector, working as a Principal Regeneration Officer, Planning Manager for national house builder Bellway Homes Wales, Development Control Planner at Cardiff Council and Vale of Glamorgan Council and as a development consultant at GVA Grimley.
Mark was Chair of RTPI Cymru in 2015 and also sits on the Policy and Research forum.
