New Homes Week is an annual celebration of new build homes. Launched by HBF in 2005, the awareness-raising campaign provides a platform for industry to come together to highlight the benefits of new builds. To help us reach consumer audiences, the campaign is delivered through our consumer website - new-homes.co.uk - and supporting New Homes Week social media accounts:
HBF members get access to an exclusive campaign toolkit and campaign assets to support you in marking New Homes Week.
Each year we provide a calendar of daily content focuses to help guide your thinking and plans so you can deliver your own activity.
As well as supporting members to mark the week, we team up with credible organisations and voices to educate, inform and inspire audiences.
New Homes Week will return from Monday 3 to Sunday 9 February 2025. This year's theme is 'Community' and will focus on the investment new build developments bring to local areas and the strong sense of community established on new build developments. In addition to activity related to the 2025 campaign, we will develop daily content themes based on universal benefits of new build homes.
Add your PR, marketing and digital agency contacts to our mailing list so they have the information they need to develop ideas and activity to support your organisation's New Homes Week plans.
The success of New Homes Week relies on the participation of our members and industry, joining with us to deliver activity that helps to create a positive collective buzz. In addition to our central activity, our campaign pack details the different ways you can get involved in the campaign this year.
Member resources are available to HBF member exclusively. If your organisation has HBF membership, sign in below or create a free account to access the resources. Learn more about HBF membership.
Throughout the year we showcase new build benefits and developments on our New Homes Week social media accounts:
Our content exclusively featured the homes of HBF members. To submit details and videos or photography of your developments for potential use on our social channels, sign in to your free HBF account and complete our short submissions form.
The theme of our 2024 campaign was “Tomorrow Awaits: Make it Yours”, playing on the emotional consideration and connection of buying a new home. We published a new report - Seamless Transitions - based on a public survey that explored the public perceptions of moving home, new build homes, and overall wellbeing. Our main advocate for the campaign was reality TV star and homes influencer Olivia Bowen. Olivia has amassed 3.7 million followers across her personal and business account, The Bowen Home.
