GOEM has responded to HBF's concerns regarding the content of the South Northamptonshire Affordable Housing Draft SPG.
The Government Office for the East Midlands has reiterated to South Northamptonshire Council the need for Supplementary Planning Guidance to supplement, rather than replace, policies in an Adopted Local Plan. The HBF drew the document to GOEM's attention because of it's concerns that the Council were attempting to introduce new policy via SPG which would be more onerous upon developers.
