The Secretary of State’s decision on the recent review of regional planning guidance was disappointing, in that it continues the trend of outward migration from the region rather than supporting the local authorities who wished to see new growth in the region. However, HBF continues to work closely with a number of third party groups, including the pathfinder group, to support the regeneration of the region.
