HBF has succeeded in persuading ODPM to delay the implementation of the new Part L (and Part F) until April 2006.
The new SAP 2005 is available on the BRE website. The new Approved Documents are still in draft form on the ODPM website.
Essentially there are now 5 criteria for compliance with Part L and Appendix A contains a checklist of 21 items to meet these.
However, of these 21 items, 12 come from the SAP calculations, six from the developer's submission and two from the pressure tester and heating insstaller.
