Eastbourne Borough Council has sought the HBF's views on the best way to proceed with its local development framework, in so far as dealing with housing provision is concerned.
The council is proposing to delay addressing this until the South East plan is finalised. The HBF expressed the concern that this will leave a shortage of housing supply in the latter years of the existing plan period to 2011. It has suggested that the matter must be addressed now.
